On 9th October, Mahindra International School’s Student Council (StuCo) led a powerful assembly dedicated to Bullying Prevention Month. This event was a meaningful reminder of the school’s commitment to creating a safe and caring environment that celebrates diversity and mutual respect.

During the assembly, students and staff came together to reflect on the impact of bullying and to renew their commitment to a community where every individual feels valued and respected. The Student Council emphasized that bullying, in any form, compromises the school’s ability to thrive as a supportive and inclusive community. They underscored that such behavior has no place at MIS, where students and staff alike are encouraged to uplift one another and foster a sense of belonging.

The assembly also served as an opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of kindness, empathy, and respect. These values form the foundation of our school culture, guiding how we interact with one another every day. MIS doesn’t just talk about celebrating diversity; it actively promotes it, making sure that each member of the community feels seen, heard, and supported. Through this event, students were reminded that they play a crucial role in building a positive and accepting environment, not just for themselves but for their peers as well.

As Bullying Prevention Month was observed, the entire MIS community reflected on the steps they could take to make a difference. With the Student Council’s leadership, the assembly became a meaningful moment that reinforced our collective responsibility to uphold a culture of respect. Together, students and staff left the assembly with a renewed sense of purpose, ready to advocate for a community where everyone truly belongs.

By fostering this supportive atmosphere, Mahindra International School continues to live its values every day. At MIS, the commitment to a caring community extends beyond words, ensuring that every individual knows they are valued and that they belong here.
