During my research I found out[1] :

Simply put, overfishing is when so many fish are caught that they can’t reproduce enough to replace themselves in time.

Catching non-target fish species when actually targeting to catch something completely else leads to what we can call a “bycatch”.

Almost 31% of the world’s fish population are overfished and 58% are fished at the maximum sustainable level

My personal action will be To spread awareness and eat less fish.
