P1 to P2 Annual Trip 2024

We are excited to share the incredible experiences our learners had at Water’s Edge Farms during our annual field trip on Wednesday, 28th February. It was an absolute delight witnessing their enthusiasm and courage throughout the day.

From grappling challenges to soaring on the flying fox, our learners demonstrated true adventurous spirit. Their willingness to step out of their comfort zones and embrace these activities with enthusiasm was truly commendable.

In addition to the adrenaline-pumping adventures, they also thoroughly enjoyed singing songs and engaging in team-building games. It was heartwarming to see all the P1, P1/P2 and P2 learners’ bond with each other, fostering self-management and social skills and emphasizing the significance of collaboration and mutual support in their learning journey.

During this full-day field trip, our learners actively embodied the learner profile attribute of being risk-takers, which aligns with our school’s emphasis on experiential learning. Additionally, this excursion promoted responsibility, both towards themselves and their peers, helping us stay true to our school MIS.

Have a look at some of their experiences in their own words:

“We got inside and we ate snacks and then we went to play a penguin game. Then we also went to the climbing station to wear our harness and do rappelling.”

“I was sitting with my friend on the bus and I read some jokes from joke book. We played ‘I Spy’ because we wanted to look out of the window.”

“We went on the zipline with a partner and we had lunch.”

“I loved doing ziplining the most.”

“I liked ziplining because it was like flying.”

“Rappelling was so scary but I did it.”

We believe these experiences not only provided them with ever-lasting memories, but they also served as valuable reminders about teamwork, resilience, and confidence.
