A New Chapter for International Education in Pune

Mahindra International School is excited to announce that the Council of International Schools (CIS) is coming to India, and it has officially added Pune to its itinerary for a special visit to our campus. This is a significant moment for our local educational community, offering new opportunities for collaboration and growth.

On 31st March 2026, MIS will host an exclusive morning event for school leaders, offering an opportunity to exchange insights with leading figures in global education.

Our history with CIS is a source of great pride, as Mahindra International School was the first school in India to be accredited by the Council of International Schools. CIS is the oldest and most global accreditation agency in the world, renowned for maintaining the highest standards in international education.

Defining a school’s direction requires understanding global standards of excellence. At this event, Jane Larsson, Executive Director of CIS, and Dr Sudha Govindswamy Sunder, Associate Director of School Support and Evaluation (CIS), will share their expertise.
